§ 110-283. Stalled vehicles.

  • Whenever a vehicle becomes stalled for any reason, whether or not in violation of this article, or in any part of a public street in which there is a covering of snow, sleet, or ice, or in which there is a parking prohibition in effect, any person operating such vehicle shall take immediate action to have the vehicle towed or pushed off the public street. No person shall abandon or leave any vehicle in the public street regardless of whether such vehicle is inoperable and such inoperability is indicated by a raised hood or otherwise.
