§ 114-329. Large power service rate.

  • (a)

    Availability. The electric large power service rate is available:

    (1)

    To any customer for general service at one location as 60-cycle, single-phase and/or three-phase service through one meter at the secondary voltage available at the customer's location.

    (2)

    Only to customers whose monthly energy requirements are 16,000 kwh or more.

    (b)

    Energy charge. Any large power service rate user of electricity in the city shall be charged for such monthly use at the following rates:

    (1)

    Energy charge, all kilowatt hours (kwhs) per month: $0.0718 per kilowatt hour (kwh).

    (2)

    Minimum monthly charge: $720.00 per month.

    (c)

    Primary metering. At the option of the city, secondary service under this section may be metered at the primary voltage.

    (d)

    Purchase power adjustment. The rate in subsection (b) of this section shall be adjusted in accordance with the purchase power adjustment as set forth in section 114-333.

    (e)

    State tax. All bills are subject to a state tax of five percent of the total bill or 0.32 percent of the cost for kilowatt hours, whichever is less.
