§ 6-111. Warning signs required.

  • Premises licensed under this article where alcoholic liquor is sold there shall be displayed at all times in a prominent place that is easily viewable by the public, a printed card which shall be supplied by the city clerk. Of which the size will not be less than eight and one-half inches by 11 inches, and printed with a white background and black type and shall read substantially as follows:

    "WARNING TO PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF TWENTY-ONE YEARS. You are subject to a minimum fine of $100.00 and a maximum fine of $750.00 under the Ordinances of the City of Peru, Illinois, if you purchase alcoholic liquor or misrepresent your age for the purpose of purchasing or obtaining alcoholic liquor, or be present in or loiter in any tavern or place where alcoholic liquor is sold unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian."
